I looked into non stick coatings after an earlier discussion about them here. I would agree they have no place on a frypan where the temperature will get high enough to break down the coating. But a pressure cooker shouldn’t get hot enough for this to be an issue. I would avoid any preliminary in pot frying though.
The sad fact is that most electric PCs come with non stick. If you have one you need the appropriate accessories. If you don’t have paying guests to subsidise replacing it, it can be prohibitively expensive to toss the whole device. I agree though that it would be better to avoid non stick coatings when shopping for a new PC. I did replace all my frypans after doing that research.
