If you can possibly avoid it, I would suggest you avoid buying from Australia. We have some of the highest prices in the world. I can usually buy from North America or the UK; pay priority international shipping rates, and still come out ahead.
As it happens, I looked at a couple of Tefal models in a shop just a couple of days ago. The gaskets looked as they were identical so it is quite possible the latest model one will fit your PC.
I believe Tefal is known as T-fal in North America. If so, this web page may be of help

and yes IMO the supplier should stock consumables for old models. But I am not sure the supplier’s accountants understand that.
