Here is the trivet I was describing earlier. From the description it may well be the same thing Laura found
One photo as it is intended to be used, and one upside down with the feet removed.
This one is about 26cm across, but they had smaller ones in the shop.
I mostly use it when cooking two things at once. The feet sit in the stew – or whatever – and the second layer takes something to be steamed. But as Laura says, upside down and with the feet removed, it is remarkably similar to the KR trivet. And much cheaper.
